FAQs

Hopefully this app is pretty intuitive for everyone, but if there are any features you think can be revised for better user-friendliness then please let me know and I'll try to get them added to the next update. In the meantime though, I hope this FAQ can answer some of your questions.


Q. How or when does the app check my tickets for winning matches?
A. As soon as you select which lottery type (Megamillions or Powerball), the app will download the latest stored drawing results from a database and compare the results to every play on every saved ticket.The tickets are also checked after hitting the "Refresh" button in the top left of the saved tickets screen. If there are any winning tickets, a yellow "winners" icon will appear beside the ticket. Currently, no winning plays simply means no icon is shown, however in a soon to be released free update, the app will display "No Matches" beside a non winning ticket.

Q. How do I manually enter my own numbers into a saved ticket?
A. You can simply click on each individual number/ball  in a saved ticket and a keypad will popup. If you enter an already existing number, the ball will reset back to the original number shown before the keypad appeared.

Q. How do I create a ticket?
A. Simply click the "+" button in the top right of the saved tickets screen.


Q. Is there an easy way to email my numbers to someone?
A. The best way is to take a screen shot of the top and bottom of a saved ticket by simultaneously pressing the home button and the power button on the iPhone / iTouch. This will save the screen shots to your Camera Roll or Photos folder and from there you can attach them to an email.  There are plans to be able to email tickets as text straight from the app, but this feature will not be available until version 2.0 is released a few months from now.
